Lessons of Love and Hospitality in the Gospel Parables: How Jesus Leads the Church to Welcome, Love, and Serve Our Neighbors
Monday, June 24, 2019
Friends, please answer a few questions about the eight-week parable study in our
congregation. By giving these questions some careful thought and writing clear, brief answers,
you will provide valuable information for Joan as she reflects upon the parable study experience
as minister and pastor. Please turn in your completed survey to the church office; or mail it; or
scan and email it sometime in the upcoming week (June 24-June 28). Thank you!
The parables studied included: In Matthew 13, Parable of the Sower, Seed, and Soil; Parable
of the Wheat and Weeds; Parable of the Yeast; Parable of the Mustard Seed; Parable of the
Hidden Treasure; Parable of the Pearl of Great Price; and Parable of Treasures Old and New. In
Matthew 18, we studied Parable of the Lost Sheep; in Matthew 20, we studied Parable of the
Workers in the Vineyard; and in Matthew 25, we studied Parable of the Ten Maidens and Parable
of the Sheep and Goats.
